Monument Sound is a privately owned, high-end mix and tracking studio located in Monument, Colorado. The facility is located in a provate residence and is a little over 1000 sq feet of space dedicated to mixing, tracking and making your music stand out above the rest.
Monument Sound has a well equipped control room and mixing suite that is setup for any engineer or producer coming in and easily get right to work. The 13' x 18' space is based on a Pro Tools HD DAW. Every point of the system in patched into a switchcraft or Redco TT patching system. Every piece of gear is fully normalled into the patch system and properly labelled in the Pro Tools I/O for ease of application. You "click and insert" with this setup. With over 40 channels of outboard EQ and compression, we have the hardware to meet anyones needs. If we don't, you can always reach for an unlimited number of plugins from Waves, Avid, Massey and much more.
The acoustical treatments in the Control Room were well thoughtout during the build of the studio. We incorporated diffusion, absorbtion and bass trapping by carefully hanging Ready Acoustic panels to help tame the lowend while the custom wall slats were installed to cut the flutter echo. The acoustically treated room has a tight sound that translates perfectly on any system. Have Monument Sound be your next studio to finish your record the right way.
We have 3 rooms for tracking and 1 well suited mix room to put it all together. The "live room" is a 16 x 17 foot space with 8'6" ceilings acoustically treated and tuned with Ready Acoustics materials, custom made surfaces and well placed acoustic treatments to help in making your recordings sound their best.
The space is comfortable with a ton of vibe designed to help the creative process. We strive to make you sound your best and do not let some of the studio limits stop us. Lower ceilings in our space give a tighter drum sound, but with modern technology we are able to make drums sound larger than life. If we need a larger space we use this technology or we can go use one of our partnered studios who offer larger spaces for tracking drums (their studio prices apply)
Monument Sounds Guitar room is a 13 x 15 foot space designed with wood and acoustic materials to make your instrument sound its best. Designed with Ready Acoustic panels on the ceilings, custom built super chunk bass traps in the corners and a custom built, wood slat wall on the main wall, your guitars get the warmth they deserve, clarity in the highend and tightness any guitar player would kill for. Clarity and definition is the main focus of the guitar room - dubbed the "Wood Room"
Monument Sound has a small vocal booth designed for voice-over work, tight guitar tracking and pretty much anything else we can fit. The space is a cozy 6 x 7 space treated with Acoustic Sciences Tube Traps and Ready Acoustic panals. There is a camera feed in teh space that ties back to the control room for maximum contact with the clients.
