Chris is a gem with his clients: very personable, a hard worker and his turnaround time is especially fast (understanding that my biggest complaint in general about mixing engineers is how incredibly slow they can be). As a music writer for a major newspaper in Denver, I get asked quite often by musicians about what studios they should work with. If that band asking me is any sort of rock band, I never hesitate to recommend Monument Sound Studios for tracking or mixing and I have never been sorry. Monument Sound Studios has done mixing on numerous major label projects as well as some of Colorado's premier local-based bands. Sure this studio might cost a little more than the Colorado Springs, Boulder, Denver home basement recording studios but, really there is no comparison sound quality wise.
