Monument Sound has relied on outside mastering houses for years!  We feel that though we have the capability and equipment to properly master we do not always like to do it.  We can master clients who are on strict budgets and will do a fine job with the material.  However, those artists' who have the budget for outside mastering, we will HIGHLY recommend it and steer you and your material the the right mastering house for the best results.  In our opinion, not all mastering studios are the same.  We feel that some show strengths in certain genres better than others,  so we use quite a few studios for specific jobs.  Where your music fits will be determined by this choice and what we feel is the proper mastering house to use for the final process.

Nick Moon - Tone Proper Mastering:

Located just outside Portland, Oregon Tone Proper Mastering was built from the ground up to be one of the best mastering facilities anywhere. With the finest and most coveted analog equipment in the region and a love for all things music, Nick Moon earned our business the old fashioned way, by doing a better job.

Nicks' attention to detail is unbelievable and his quality is top notch.

Chris Keffer - Magnetic North:

Chris Keffer is an old friend and an amazing engineer.  Chris has been in the business of rwell over 20 years now and has a great client record to boot.  Chris has just opened a new mastering facility in Cleveland, Ohio where he has been a studio owner for 20+ years.

Airshow Mastering:

We have used Airshow Mastering since our days in Northern Virginia.  Charlie Pilzer was the first mastering engineer that we ever experienced and has been a good friend ever since.

Airshow has a track record like no other in the business.  Multiple Grammy awards, nominations and platinum records have come from Airshows final product.

The Boulder location is a quick drive North and a very easy environment to have your record finished.
